BASE AREA ATTENDANT
Department: Maintenance - Bourgeau Services
Reporting to: Base Area Supervisor
Start date: Various start dates, Wave 1- Mid October, Wave 2- Late October (weather dependent)

Description:
Base Area Attendants provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for directing all traffic control for arriving vehicles as well as answering any guest queries. They also maintain the parking lots and surrounding areas by plowing snow and removing garbage. This is a physically demanding position requiring some manual labour, lifting and carrying
Essential Functions
- Provide excellent guest service
- Traffic control and direction
- Assist with snow removal
- Remove garbage and recycling
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Requirements
- Passion for providing outstanding guest service
- Previous experience operating machinery (bobcat, sander, forklift) is an asset
- Prior physical outdoor experience is an asset
- Excellent communication, teamwork and multi-tasking skills
- Strong self-initiative with a positive and friendly attitude
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Must be over age of 21 upon commencement of position to meet insurance requirements. Additional insurance requirements include providing a clean driver’s abstract (Abstract cannot be any older than 30 days from employment start date) and proof of an Alberta Drivers’ License (within 90 days of becoming an Alberta resident). Please note: any fees for obtaining an Alberta Driver’s license are incurred by the applicant.
