DISHWASHER
Department: Food and Beverage, various outlets
Reporting to: Executive Chef and Sous Chef

Description
Dishwashers provide an outstanding experience for our guests by ensuring a sanitary and safe environment in our kitchens. They are responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, dishes, pots, floors and other kitchen surfaces as required. This is a physically demanding position that requires some manual labour, lifting , carrying and standing for long periods of time.
Essential Functions
- Provide excellent guest service
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen: clean and sanitize utensils, tableware, worktables and equipment in a safe and efficient manner and according to established procedures and checklists
- Maintain regular inventories of cleaning supplies
- Maintain laundry receptacles and stores
- Responsible for removal garbage and recycling
- Assist with routine preparatory tasks and well as moving food and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Requirements
- Passion for providing outstanding guest service
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Self-motivator with a positive attitude
- Ability to perform manual labour, heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Excellent time management and team work skills
- Safety and WHMIS training is an asset
