RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Description

Retail sales associates provide an outstanding experience for our guests. Sales Associates help determine and assist guests with their retail needs. They also take payment and help to merchandize products. This can be a physically demanding position requiring some manual labour and lifting.

Essential Functions

• Provide excellent guest service
• Determine and assist guests with their retail needs in a knowledgeable manner; requires thorough understanding of ski and snowboard apparel and accessories
• Merchandize products to be neatly organized, correctly priced, and ready-to-sell
• Participate in and conduct regular inventory counts
• Accept payment transactions and accurately complete daily cash-outs
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Requirements

• Passion for providing outstanding guest service
• Previous retail or sales experience
• Previous cash handling experience with the ability to accurately manage a cash float
• Strong initiative and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail with merchandizing experience is an asset
• Prior experience with POS systems is an asset
• Strong communication,  time management  and team work skills
