Sales Desk Attendant provide an outstanding experience for our guests by selling and booking ski and snowboard lessons to Sunshine guests It is their responsibility to also know about facilities on the mountain and other departments so they can assist guests throughout the day and to provide them with fast, friendly and efficient service.


Essential Functions

  • Provide excellent guest service
  • Coordination and sales of ski and snowboard lessons at various points of sale
  • Know the fine details of the different products that are for sale through Sunshine Ski & Snowboard School
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure that Sunshine Ski and Snowboard School is presented in the best possible light
  • Set an example in customer service and must have good knowledge of the services offered on the mountain and the fine details of the different products that are for sale through Sunshine Ski & Snowboard School and the two systems used for selling
  • Manage an accurate cash float and daily cash out
  • Respond promptly and professionally to general and lesson enquiries via phone, fax and email
  • General office and clerical duties
  • Maintain a neat and orderly environment in and around the sales desk
  • Offer accurate information to our guests effectively and efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Passion for providing outstanding guest service
  • Mature skier or snowboarder an asset
  • Superior customer service and leadership skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and reservations software an asset
  • Previous sales experience
  • Efficient cash handling/cash out skills
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve independently
  • Excellent phone etiquette
