Reporting to: Trail Crew Supervisor and Senior Slopes Supervisor

Description

Trail Crew provides an outstanding experience for our guest by maintaining a safe terrain for skiers and snowboarders. This is a very physically demanding role, however it is very rewarding!

Essential Functions;

• Provide excellent guest service
• Snow farming and maintaining fencing
• Fixing trail signs, checking on landscape items, carrying bamboo sticks (while skiing), moving and maintaining fences etc.
• Pounding steel into the ground for snow farming
• Able to work in adverse conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Requirements

• Passion for providing outstanding guest service
• Should be a high intermediate/advanced SKIER (not boarder)
• Enjoy the mountain environment. Able to work outdoors from -30 degrees Celsius in winter to +5 in the spring
• Able to lift and carry heavy items (approx. 45lbs-70lbs)
• Required to have both rock skis and good skis
• Will need to eventually purchase avalanche gear  and will need a shovel for first day of work
• Physically fit
