Salomon Slopestyle – April 19th

Salomon Slopestyle is a Ski and Snowboard Slopestyle event where the goal is to perform a variety of difficult tricks on the features in Rogers Terrain Park, with an emphasis on performing different types of tricks instead of doing one great trick repeatedly. The judging criteria are Amplitude, Difficulty, Variety and Execution. The event will take place Saturday April 19th. Participants will be given 2 qualifying runs, with youth (minimum 13 years of age) and adults competing together. A maximum of 60 participants will be accepted. Qualifying will take place from 10:30am to 1:00pm then judges will pick the top 6 in each division to compete in the finals between 2pm and 3:30pm (times subject to change). Cash prizes for those who podium in their division.

Women’s Snowboard
Men’s Snowboard

*Divisions require a minimum 6 participants and minimum age of 13 with legal guardian signing release for all minors

Pre-Registration is available at General Office (located at the base area above the Rental Shop) and Calgary Office-Snow Central.

Space is limited, it is recommended you pre-register.

Legal Guardian Required to Sign Waiver for Minors.

HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

Check-In is in the West Wing Meeting Room of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge between 9 AM and 10 AM or until full (maximum of 60 participants).

Registration Fee $30 for all participants.

Salomon Rail Jam – April 20th

The Salomon Rail Jam is a ski and snowboard Rail Jam event where the goal is to perform a variety of difficult tricks on the rails and boxes on Pando Hill,. The judging criteria are difficulty, variety and execution. The event will take place Sunday April 20th. The competition will be an open jam with youth (minimum 13 years of age) and adults competing together. Participants can practice during the morning. A maximum of 60 participants will be accepted and will compete in the open jam qualifying. Skier will compete from 11:30am to 12:15pm and Snowboarders will be from 12:30pm to 1:15pm then judges will pick the best 6 in each catergory to compete in the finals between 2pm and 3:30pm (times subject to change).

Salomon Water Jam – May 17th

The Salomon Water Jam is a fun take on a ski and snowboard Rail Jam event where the goal is to perform a variety of difficult tricks on rails and boxes spanning over a pool of water. The event will take place at the lower portion of Pando Hill (Slush Cup hill just outside Trappers). The judging criteria are difficulty, variety and execution. The event will take place Saturday May 17th. The competition will be an open jam with youth (minimum 13 years of age) and adults competing together.
