Adaptive Ski Program

Sunshine Village is delighted to introduce the Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard School Adaptive Ski Program. The program is designed to make skiing and snowboarding in the spectacular Canadian Rockies available to people of all abilities.

The program has been developed by a core of individuals, determined to enable people with disabilities, to come and experience snowsports.

Our experienced, trained and certified Instructors from our Ski & Snowboard School are ready to introduce and enhance your snowsports skills as they assist you on some of the best terrain on the mountain

We will endeavor to facilitate a skiing/snowboarding experience to a wide range of physical, cognitive and development impairments, and have lessons and equipment to cater to all abilities from Never Evers to Experts.

This lesson is designed for individuals with a disability plus up to four family members and/or friends. All people in the lesson will receive instruction, though the main focus will be on the person with a disability. The family members and/or friends will also be taught how to assist the individual with the disability.

*Price do not include lift ticket or equipment rental

These lessons are in a private lesson format being one on one with the Adaptive Instructor.

Sit Ski $25.00/day (including hand held/fixed outriggers)
Outriggers $10.00/day

* half price lift tickets are applicable for the individual with the disability and a support person if needed.
