Celebrate the season Join Shred Kelly at Sunshine Village this weekend and end the 2013- 14 ski season in style May 15, 2014 Join Sunshine Village and celebrate the final weekend of the ski season with amazing spring skiing conditions and the best party in the Canadian Rockies featuring Fernie-based Shred Kelly. With the longest non-glacial ski season in Canada and epic spring conditions to be found all around the three skiable mountains, come and find out for yourself why Sunshine Village is the place to be this weekend. In addition to great skiing, rail jam events, and ample patio time, there’s the fun-loving fourth act of the Sunshine Village Spring Concert Series, Shred Kelly who are ready to entertain. This five piece band released their first album in 2010, received the Artist of the Year award at the Kootney music festival in 2012 and recently completed their second full length album all about small town life, love and tragedy, In the Hills. These talented musicians are set to take to the Pepsi stage on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th at 2 p.m. Guests of the resort can look forward to their self-proclaimed “stoke folk” which is sure to have everyone on their feet. The live shows can be enjoyed by anyone with a lift ticket or season’s pass. Non-skiers may also purchase a gondola-only ticket to reach the concert area, located high in the Canadian Rockies. The Sunshine Pepsi Stage is located in the heart of the village next to historical Mad Trapper’s Saloon and the Molson Coors Beer Gardens, new Patron Igloo and the Veuve Clicquot Champagne and Oyster Bar.
