Sunshine Mountain Lodge to feature regional cuisine at the   Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival

Banff, Alberta, May 6, 2013 – Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort will showcase exclusive dishes from Sunshine Mountain Lodge at the Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival this weekend.   Festival goers are invited to stop by the Sunshine Village booth to indulge in seared East Coast scallops flambéed with Sambuca, in addition to sampling a desert offering of Mount Look-out tarts with strawberry coulis.

Executive Chef Martin Brenner of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge will be on hand preparing each mouth-watering morsel at booth 35-36 in the Van Horne Ballroom on both Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th during the festival.

A proud sponsor of Banff’s most popular wine and food event, Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort will also be providing this year’s festival grand prize.  One lucky winner will enjoy an all-inclusive weekend ski getaway for two at the eco-luxurious Sunshine Mountain Lodge, Banff’s only ski-in, ski-out hotel.
