Sunshine’s 6th annual fundraiser in support of  the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

May 14, 2014

Sunshine Village will bring a hint of summer to the slopes this holiday weekend while supporting a great cause with the 6th Annual Bikinis and Boardshorts Ski & Ride on Sunday, May 18th.

The event, which has raised over $50,000 in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation since it’s inception, will include a ski down Sunshine’s Strawberry face in addition to a silent auction on the day of the event.

Ladies sporting bikini tops and men wearing boardshorts will ski down Sunshine’s Strawberry face at noon on Sunday, while an aptly coloured pink tent located in the heart of the village will feature silent auction items including Canmore Folks Festival tickets, a yoga kit, meal vouchers at Banff’s best restaurants and more.

Registration to enter is still open, and entrants must raise a minimum of $50 in pledges through friends, relatives, co-workers or they can make a personal donation. Groups of three or more must raise a minimum of $200. Prizes will be given out to participants, including a prize for top fundraiser. The event will also include a silent auction, barbecue and live music.
