Taste of Sunshine unveils Friday night four course culinary experience

Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort hosts an intimate on-mountain culinary experience Friday evenings with a Taste of Sunshine.

The upscale dining event features an exclusive four course food and wine pairing menu at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge’s Eagle’s Nest restaurant. The authentic mountain event, located in the heart of Banff National Park, will provide a unique mountain dining experience in an upscale, lodge environment. 

Each month, Chef Martin Brenner of the Sunshine Mountain Lodge will feature a different internationally inspired menu. This month, the spotlight is on Germany.

“We are fortunate to have chefs from around the world working at Sunshine Village and with the Taste of Sunshine, each month we aim to highlight the cuisine from one of their home countries,” says Brenner.

Featured on February’s menu is oven roasted pork tenderloin paired with a crisp German Riesling and for dessert, delight your palate with a warm apple strudel drizzled with coffee caramel sauce.

With complementary gondola access Friday nights from 5 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., enjoy a moonlight ride up to the Village to experience Sunshine Village after dark. Guests are reminded to bundle up to enjoy this unique winter experience in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
