The Wild West advanced skiing zone on Goat’s Eye Mountain opened today – the earliest opening ever for this free ride zone.

This is also the first time this big mountain area has opened before Delirium Dive. High winds have prevented Delirium from opening early, but the Wild West has weathered the winds better and the Snow Safety team has been hard at work ski packing and working the terrain to prepare it for this week’s 56 cm of snow.

Delirium Dive is being worked on and is getting closer, but the snow safety team says it needs more favorable winds and some warm snow before it’s fully ready.
