2019/20 Opening Update.

Sunshiners, it’s official, on Friday, November 8th, we will open for the 2019/2020 ski and snowboard season.

As it’s early in the ski and snowboard season, our snowpack is thinner than normal. For opening day, we will have Strawberry Express and our two magic carpets open to ski and ride.

If you’re coming up for some turns, lift tickets will be $49 for an adult – based on available open terrain. As we open more terrain to ski and ride prices will be adjusted. We recommend bringing your rock skis or boards as our snowpack is thin and there may be unmarked hazards on the run.

Early Season Ski Lift Pricing

*Photo ID required. Prices do not include GST.

*Supercard holders and mid-week pass holders save $5 off early season pricing and are not required to use their free days. Sunshine Super Card usages are not applicable on early season discounted tickets.

With limited terrain open, we encourage you to have patience with us as we work to open the rest of the mountain. We are expecting Strawberry to be busy, and encourage you to come pick up your season pass, try out the new menus at Trappers, Chimney Corner, and Creekside, and do a run or two.

Due to our opening conditions, we ask you to bear with us as we work on the mountain. As we have stated we will have limited terrain to ski and ride. If you’re keen to hit the park, Strawberry will have rail park set up on Snowsnake.

Staying at Sunshine Mountain Lodge, the hotel will open for the season on Friday, November 8th.  For guest convenience, our check-in is located at the base of the gondola.

If you're coming on opening day, please remember to ski and ride with care. Visit our website and stay tuned for more updates.
