What Lifts Will Be Open? What are the prices for Early Season Tickets? We’re answering these and more questions here!


Sunshiners, it’s SHRED time! Are you ready to take the first chair of the season tomorrow?


We’re thrilled to confirm that our ski and snowboard season will kick off with Wawa, Jackrabbit, Wolverine, and Strawberry Express. Our 2 magic carpets will also be open, and our Strawberry Terrain Park will include 17 features!

Plus, discounted lift prices* will be effective tomorrow November 9th, 2018 for all skiers and snowboarders (WOHOOO) and will be valid until more lifts open.



*Photo ID required. Prices do not include GST.

*Supercard holders and mid-week pass holders save $5 off early season pricing and are not required to use their free days. Sunshine Super Card usages are not applicable on early season discounted tickets.


What else will be available?

You could book your stay at Sunshine Mountain Lodge. Our ski-in, ski-out hotel will be open for guests on Friday evening.


Hungry on the slopes? No worries. Trappers, Creekside, Chimney Corner, and Alpine Grill will be serving up lunch and snacks. 


Our ski school, rental shop, daycare, and retails stores will also be open since Friday.



Arrive prepared!

Pick up your 2018/19 Banff Sunshine Season Pass at our Calgary Snow Central (open daily from 8 am to 7 pm), or at Ski Big 3's Adventure Hub in Banff. On the mountain, pick up your season pass at Guest Services.

For speedy pass pick up on Opening Day, Friday, November 9th, be sure to sign your online waiver before 11:59 PM, Wednesday, November 7th.

Season passes for guests with previously existing photos, and signed waivers, will be printed and ready for pick up at the second floor of Creekside Day Lodge at the Bourgeau Base Area.
