Are You Ready to Rock Out in The Rockies?

Untracked concert series-4103 (1).jpg

If the answer was “Shred Ya,” grab your ski crew and make plans to head to Banff Sunshine this upcoming weekend (April 6th and 7th) for the 2019 launch of our Untracked Concert Series presented by Coors Light

For the inaugurate performance of this spring’s untracked concert series, we’ve invited the legendary Calgary based indie-rock band “The Dudes” to take center stage and to rock out, off the charts outside of trappers.

Sound wise, The Dudes, have been compared to Seattle based Modest Mouse. On stage, the dudes are known for their high energy and dance-inciting melodies.  If you’re Canadian, you’ve probably heard their 2006 song “Dropkick Queen of the Weekend,” at some point. The song went mainstream when Rogers picked it up for a commercial campaign.

The Dude’s will be performing two 45 minute sets on the Pepsi Stage, located in the Trappers Snow Garden, on both Saturday and Sunday.

  • •    Grab a late lunch and a beverage and catch the first set at 2:30 pm
  • •    Meet up with the crew, for a few toasts to the day on the slopes and catch the second set at 3:45 pm

Each weekend, from now until Slush Cup Long Weekend, Our Untracked Concert Series presented by Coors Light will take over the Trappers Snow Garden. This spring, we’re featuring an all-Canadian line up with music acts from across the country. Check our event calendar here.

This spring, dive into the untracked and ski why Banff Sunshine is home to Canada’s Best Spring Skiing and Riding.
