How do I redeem my discounts?
Arrive prepared! To receive your discounts on your second visit or any subsequent discount, Bonus Free Day and/or Free Days at Sunshine Village, Marmot Basin and Revelstoke Mountain Resort, make sure you register your card 24 hours in advance at skibanff.com/card.
By registering your card, you will also protect it against loss or theft, and could win 2021 Salomon Skis or Snowboard!
Already registered your card? Head to Guest Services or to a Ticket Window to get your lift ticket for the day. Your Sunshine Super Card must be presented at the time of transaction to accumulate usage and receive eligible discounts and benefits.
Is the Sunshine Super Card transferable?
Like Season Passes, the Sunshine Super Card is non-transferable, meaning it can only be owned and used by one person.
How long is the Sunshine Super Card valid for? Are there blackout dates?
Your 2020/21 Sunshine Super Card is only valid for the 2020/21 season. From Opening day until Slush Cup Monday (May 24, 2021). Not valid with other coupons or discounts.
Blackout dates apply on the following midweek dates:
- December 28, 2020, to January 1, 2021
- February 12 & 15, 2021
- March 29 to April 2 & April 5, 2021
- May 24, 2021
Even though these dates work as “blackout dates” for the ‘$25 OFF MIDWEEK DAYS’ and ‘$25 OFF NOVEMBER & MAY’ discounts, you will still receive a $15 OFF your lift ticket.
What does this mean? If you want to ride on New Year’s Eve or any of the “blackout dates” listed above, you still can score $15 OFF your lift ticket. Also, if you want to use your ‘$25 OFF NOVEMBER & MAY’ discount, you will get $25 OFF any day of November and May, except for May 24, 2021, as it is a “blackout date”. Again, you’ll still get $15 off on your tickets that day.
How does the Direct-to-Lift upgrade work?
Your Sunshine Super card can be upgraded to a Sunshine Direct-to-Lift (DTL) pass for free!
A DTL pass looks like a season pass, and it will save you time! It links your credit card and your Sunshine Super Card, so you can skip the ticket window and go directly to the gondola. Your new pass will keep track of all your visits and act as a super card to obtain your discounts at Banff Sunshine and all our partner resorts.
When you scan you DTL on your 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th visit at Sunshine, lift ticket charges will go straight to your credit card (after applying your discounts).
Note that separate Direct-To-Lift passes will be required for both Sunshine Village and Marmot Basin. Direct to Lift does not apply to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, WinSport, Rabbit Hill or Snow Valley, meaning you will still need to go to their Guest Services locations to get your lift tickets.
Are there discounts for kids?
Yes, you can save on lift tickets for your kids all winter long! When you upgrade your Sunshine Super Card to a Sunshine Direct-to-Lift pass, you could get a “Child Direct-to-Lift” for your kid or grandkid.
As a Direct-to-Lift passholder, a Child full-day lift ticket is just $39+GST all season long. Charges for each visit will be added to the credit card linked to your Direct-to-Lift pass.
To qualify, the child must be between the ages of 6 and 12 and must be living in the same residence as the Super Cardholder. Proof of age is required for the child.
5-year-old kids and under ride for free at Banff Sunshine.
Where can I buy it?
From Oct. 16, 2020, to March 21, 2021, you can order your card online and at our Snow Central in Calgary. Be sure to order your Sunshine Super Card for $99+GST before the price goes up to $133+GST on December 26th, 2020.
You can also pick up your card at AMA Travel, Alberta Safeway’s and Sobeys’s locations, Sport Chek, and your favorite Ski and Snowboard Shops until December 31st, 2020 for $99+GST.
