Super Angel & Teepee Town now open
Yippe ki eh! Winter keeps on getting sweeter on the slopes of Banff Sunshine! As of the writing of this blog, it’s only mid-November and we’re already carving up the majority of our three Mountains of terrain. We at Banff Sunshine now have 69 runs open and 9 of our 12 lifts open.
On Monday, November 17th, Teepee Town LX (the Canadian Rockies first heated lift) and Super Angel Luxury Express (the only 6-person heated bubble lift with EVO technology in North America) started flying for the 25/26 ski and snowboard season. The early season addition of the two chairs comes with an added 18 runs. With Super Angel and Teepee Town now flying daily at Sunshine, skiers and snowboarder can fly up Look Out Mountain to enjoy longer runs as they take in the view of Mount Assiniboine as they carve their way down the slopes.
Both Teepee Town and Super Angel offer access to some longer more challenging runs. With Teepee Town now open, guests can more easily ski between the terrain on Wolverine and our Village lifts.
Our mountain operations team continues their work to prepare more terrain for opening. With snow presently falling on our slopes we hope to have more terrain announcements coming soon.

Ticket Prices, Sunshine Super Cards and Season Passes
Discounted Lift Tickets continue to be available for purchase at the Ticket Windows on the day of your visit. Early Season Prices are based on the amount of Lifts and Terrain open. As more opens up to the public Lift Ticket prices will increase and will be announced online on our Day Ticket Page.
We recommend waiting to use and redeem your Sunshine Super Card until later in the season once Lift Ticket prices are at the full rate. This way you will get your best value out of the program. The $40 off additional days discount does not apply to Early Season Discounted Rates, but rather to Regular Season Rates.
Sunshine Season Pass Holders who have not yet received their 2025/26 Season Pass can head to Guest Services on the 2nd Floor of Creekside Lodge at the Bourgeau Base Area. We apologize for those who have not received their Season Pass in the mail due to the ongoing Canada Post strike.
Transportation
Our Sunshine Shuttle Service will be operating with our Early Season Schedule to and from Banff. The schedule can be found here:
