Wawa Opening Nov 8th

The season continues to build beautifully at Banff Sunshine Village, and we’re excited to share that the Wawa Chairlift opens to the public today, November 8th.

With Wawa now spinning, guests can enjoy six lifts, including Strawberry Express, Jackrabbit, Wolverine Express, Mitey Mite Conveyor, and the Sunshine Gondola — along with over 25 runs of early-season skiing and riding on Canada’s Best Snow.

It’s been an incredible start to the 2025/26 winter season, and with another 58 cm of fresh snow in the past week, conditions are improving daily. Our mountain operations team continues to prepare even more terrain as we move further into November.

Ticket Prices, Sunshine Super Cards and Season Passes

Discounted Lift Tickets will be available for purchase at the Ticket Windows on the day of your visit. Early Season Prices are based on the amount of Lifts and Terrain open. As more opens up to the public Lift Ticket prices will increase and will be announced online on our Day Ticket Page.

We recommend waiting to use and redeem your Sunshine Super Card until later in the season once Lift Ticket prices are at the full rate. This way you will get your best value out of the program. The $40 off additional days discount does not apply to Early Season Discounted Rates, but rather to Regular Season Rates.

Sunshine Season Pass Holders who have not yet received their 2025/26 Season Pass can head to Guest Services on the 2nd Floor of Creekside Lodge at the Bourgeau Base Area. We apologize for those who have not received their Season Pass in the mail due to the ongoing Canada Post strike.

Transportation

Our Sunshine Shuttle Service will be operating with our Early Season Schedule to and from Banff. The schedule can be found here:
