We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of the 9th Annual ShredAbility fundraising event, presented by Rocky Mountain Adaptive (RMA)! Join us on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, to participate in the festivities.

What is Shredability?

ShredAbility is more than a fundraiser, it’s an exhilarating all-mountain scavenger hunt where skiers and snowboarders team up to tackle challenges, solve clues, and explore Sunshine’s scenic slopes. The event fosters community spirit, showcases adaptive sports, and empowers individuals with disabilities to thrive in mountain sports.

How to Participate and Win Prizes

ShredAbility is open to ALL skiers and snowboarders (of any ability) who want to support adaptive sports. In teams of 2 to 4 people, participants register online to set up a personalized fundraising page to reach out to their networks to raise money and compete for prizes.

The Top Prize is a 3-day CMH Heli-Hike Trip for 2 for the top fundraising team. Prizes will also be awarded for fasted time, slowest time, and best costume. Every participant has a chance to win exciting prizes, and the camaraderie and adventure of the day ensure everyone leaves with unforgettable memories.

Schedule of Events

8:00am – 10:30am: Registration at SSV Base

9:15am – 3:15pm: Scavenger Hunt (including adaptive challenges)

11:30pm – 2:30pm: Lunch

3:45pm – 5:00pm: Prize Giving & Results

Funds raised during ShredAbility will directly benefit Rocky Mountain Adaptive’s programs, which enable individuals with disabilities to participate in mountain sports, fostering confidence, skills and a sense of belonging.
