Annual Sunshine Village Easter service

Embracing tradition, community, and history — Banff Sunshine’s Easter service continues to be a cherished experience, where generations gather to celebrate the timeless spirit of renewal in the heart of our Rocky Mountains.

An ongoing tradition at Sunshine for over 40 years, the Easter service began with ministers coming up to our hill in the 1970s and 1980s. Today, Pastor Klaus Ohlhoff carries on the legacy, leading the interdenominational service for the past 30 years.

The annual Easter service will be held atop the Strawberry Express quad chairlift at 11:00 AM. Pastor Klaus Ohlhoff will conduct the service for skiers and snowboarders, accompanied by live musicians. This event offers a meaningful opportunity for reflection that everyone is welcome and invited to take part in.
