Newschoolers: King & Queen of the Park

Stretch the legs and get ready to send it, because Banff Sunshine Village and Newschoolers have teamed up once again to deliver King & Queen of the Park, year six!

Running from April 27 through May 10, this is a skiers-only competition. To enter, simply submit your three best tricks—filmed in a Banff Sunshine Village terrain park—and you could be crowned King or Queen of the Park, taking home a $1,000 prize. After submissions close on May 10, judging and public voting will take place from May 11 to 14.

Riders are encouraged to get creative and throw down their top three tricks on any feature across Sunshine’s five terrain parks. Winners are chosen by both judges and the public, earning the honorary titles of “King” and “Queen” of the park for the year.
