Which Sunshine Super Card Should You Choose?

For the 2023/24 winter season we are excited to offer 3 different types of Sunshine Super Card. Each of these options gives you the same free days and discounts, they are just offered a little bit differently!

Mobile / Direct-to-Lift Super Card (DTL)

Mobile Digital Super Card

The Mobile Super card is best for you if you enjoy skipping the ticket window and sometimes forget your pass at home. Get all the perks of your Super Card from your phone.

For your convenience, our Sunshine Mobile Super Card will link directly to your credit card, allowing you to bypass our ticket windows and head straight up the Sunshine gondola. Our mobile Sunshine Super Card will work just like a traditional Sunshine Super Card – providing you with the same number of free days and the same super card discounts on lift tickets.

Please keep in mind that your Mobile Super Card only allows you to skip the ticket window at Banff Sunshine. If you visit any of our partner resorts you will have to visit their Guest Services to get your ticket.

NEW: This year when you purchase a Mobile / Direct-to-Lift Sunshine Super Card a mobile code will be automatically emailed to you. You have the option to enter that code into the Banff Sunshine Village App or visit Guest Services to exchange for a Direct-to-lift hard copy card.

Direct-to-Lift Hard Copy Super Card

The Direct-to-Lift Sunshine Super card is best for you if you enjoy skipping the ticket window and going right to the gondola.

A DTL pass looks like a season pass, and will help save you time! It links your credit card and your Sunshine Super Card, so you can skip the ticket window and go directly to the gondola. Your new pass will keep track of all your visits and give you your free day or appropriate discounts at Banff Sunshine and all our partner resorts.

Please keep in mind that your Direct-to-Lift pass only allows you to skip the ticket window at Banff Sunshine. If you visit any of our partner resorts you will have to visit their Guest Services to get your ticket.

Classic Sunshine Super Card

The classic Sunshine Super Card is best for you if you plan on gifting the Super Card to another person or you plan to ski and snowboard at partner resorts only.

After you purchase your Super Card make sure to register it. Once your card is registered you are good to use it all season long.
