How We Measure Snow

Because every centimetre counts.

Sunshine’s snowfall is measured at our Mid Mountain Snow Plot at 2,220m and our Upper Mountain Snow Plot at 2,350m, which we additionally started to use since November 2024. Measurements are taken daily at 5:00 AM via a remote telemetry and a manual measurement 7:30 AM, with seasonal totals recorded from when snow starts to stick around in late October to Slush Cup Monday in late May.
