Summer rides on the Sunshine Village Gondola and the Standish Sightseeing Chairlift provide unforgettable views of Banff National Park.

Banff Sunshine Summer Gondola

Ride Banff's biggest gondola (8-passenger cabin capacity) with the whole family. Start at the base at an elevation of 1,659 m and ride the gondola to the top Village terminal at 2,159 m. Take in all the views of the valley and wildlife.

From the Village, you can hop on the Standish Chairlift to 2,385 m (7,825 ft) and take your adventure to even greater heights.

Standish Sightseeing Chairlift

Elevate your sightseeing experience even higher when you board the Standish Express Lift for an 8-minute scenic ride to an elevation of 2,385 m (7,825 ft). Here you can experience breathtaking 360-degree mountain views of Banff.

Please plan your visit to allow sufficient time to ride the Gondola to the Village and enjoy the sights from the Standish Viewing Deck. We recommend you arrive to the Village no later than 15:30.
