Full Day Private Lesson
Make a day of it with personalized instruction tailored to your ability and goals. Bring up to five skiers or riders of a similar age and ability for the same lesson price.

Private lessons accommodate Levels 1–6, from Never Ever to Double Black.
Half Day Private Lesson
Three hours of personalized coaching focused on the skills and terrain that matter most to you. Bring up to five skiers or riders of a similar age and ability for the same lesson price.

1-Hour Private Lesson
A focused hour of one-on-one coaching for skiers or riders looking to sharpen their skills and get more from their day.

Available for Levels 3–6, from Green Runner to Double Black.
1-Hour Tiny Tiger Private Lesson
A private lesson just for little skiers and riders, with one-on-one instruction tailored to their ability and pace.

Plan For Your Lesson
- Lift tickets and rentals can be purchased seperately.
- Adult rentals do not include helmets. Kids rentals include helmets.
- Clothing, goggles and accessories are available in the Sunshine retail shop.
- For Full Day Private Lessons, plan for a lunch break during your lesson. Lunch is not included.
Meeting Location
All Private Lessons depart from the Village Area at the top of the Sunshine Gondola.
Please arrive early to allow time to check in and get organized before your lesson begins.
Gondola Access
Everyone riding the gondola must have a lift ticket, season pass, or sightseeing pass.
For Tiny Tiger Private Lessons, parents or guardians accompanying their child to the lesson meeting area also need gondola access. If you’re skiing or riding, you’ll need a Lift Ticket or Season Pass. If you’re not skiing or riding, you’ll need a Sightseeing Pass.
Choosing Your Ability Level
- Choose the ability level that best reflects your current skiing or snowboarding ability when booking.
- Private Lessons are available across a range of ability levels. Full Day and Half Day lessons accommodate Levels 1–6, from Never Ever through Double Black.
- 1-Hour Private Lessons for ages 6+ are available for Levels 3–6, from Green Runner through Double Black.
Booking With Family Or Friends
- Full Day and Half Day Private Lessons can include up to five participants for the same lesson price.
- For the best experience, participants should be of a similar age and ability level. Everyone in the lesson must participate in the same sport: all ski or all snowboard.
- 1-Hour Private Lessons for ages 6+ can include up to two participants of a similar age and ability.
- Tiny Tiger 1-Hour Private Lessons are for one child ages 2–5.
Tiny Tiger Private Lessons
- Tiny Tiger Private Lessons are designed specifically for children ages 2–5 and are offered as a one-hour, one-on-one lesson.
- If your child requires a lift ticket, pick it up on the day of the lesson at the Ski & Snowboard School Sales Desk in Creekside Lodge at the base area before heading up the gondola.
- Parents or guardians accompanying their child to the Village also require gondola access. Skiing or riding adults need a valid Lift Ticket or Pass. Non-skiing adults need a Sightseeing Pass.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the lesson receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours receive a 50% refund.
Changes within 24 hours are subject to availability.
