Adaptive Lessons

Adaptive lessons designed to make skiing and snowboarding accessible to everyone.

Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the mountain. In partnership with Rocky Mountain Adaptive, Sunshine offers adaptive skiing and snowboarding experiences tailored to each participant’s abilities, goals and needs.

Ski, Snowboard & Sit Ski

RMA supports a range of ways to experience the mountain, whether you’re learning for the first time or building on existing skills.

Find The Right Support

Meeting At Sunshine

Rocky Mountain Adaptive’s winter base is located in the Village at the top of the Sunshine Gondola. Participants meet outside the RMA Shed, located to the left after exiting the Gondola.

Getting To Your Lesson

Plan to arrive at the Sunshine base approximately one hour before your lesson to allow time for the Gondola ride and any required lift tickets or rentals.

Lift Tickets & Rentals

Lift tickets and rentals are not automatically included with every RMA program. Requirements vary depending on the experience, so confirm what you’ll need with Rocky Mountain Adaptive when booking.

Questions About Your Experience?

Because every participant’s needs are different, Rocky Mountain Adaptive is the best resource for questions about eligibility, adaptive equipment, lesson requirements and accessibility.
