Trail Maps
Our three mountain faces offer skiers and snowboarders more than 3,500 acres to play and explore. Let our trail maps be your guide to unforgettable days on the slopes.
Three Mountains. One Connected Resort.
Discover three interconnected mountains surrounding one central mountain village. At Banff Sunshine Village, Goat’s Eye Mountain, Lookout Mountain and Mount Standish offer more than 3,500 acres of skiing and snowboarding, all connected by our trails and state of the art lift system. Explore all three throughout your day, with the village at the heart of your Sunshine experience. Let our trail maps guide you to your next favourite run on Canada’s Best Snow.
Goat's Eye Mountain
The first stop on the Sunshine gondola, Goat’s Eye Mountain connects to the rest of the resort through our network of trails and lifts, offering everything from playful family terrain to steep, challenging runs. At Goat's Eye, skiers will find the Goat's Eye Express (our most challenging lift), Wolverine Express (a family favourite and a connector to Teepee Town LX), and Jackrabbit (a favourite of ski school instructors and accessible from Wolverine). When skiing Goat's Eye Mountain, you'll enjoy the steep, deep, and long runs off the Goat's Eye Express, and the playful, family-friendly terrain of Wolverine.
If you're flying into Calgary from Vancouver, see if you can spot the runs of Goat's Eye Mountain out the airplane window!
Lookout Mountain
Rising above our central village, Lookout Mountain brings expansive alpine terrain and extraordinary views to your day exploring Sunshine’s three connected mountains. On Lookout Mountain, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the runs of Teepee Town LX, Super Angel LX, and The Great Divide Express. On The Great Divide, skiers and snowboarders will travel to an altitude of 8,900 ft., through the province of BC and back to Alberta again, all in one ride. For those interested in riding Delirium Dive, the gate to the freeride zone is found at the top of the Divide Express. With the wide open, above-treeline runs of Lookout Mountain, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can enjoy the views of Mount Assiniboine and find terrain that fits their ability.
Mount Standish
Explore more of Sunshine’s connected terrain on Mount Standish, where Standish Express, Wawa and Strawberry Express serve up playful natural features, scenic cruisers and gentle runs for building confidence. Standish Express is a local favourite, as the chair services unique natural terrain features and often captures wind blown snow. For intermediate skiers, Wawa Bowl and Tincan alley off of Wawa are great choices. Strawberry Express is our beginner chair, and features gentle blues and greens where new skiers can build confidence. For ski school guests, our three magic carpets are also found on Mount Standish.
