Located at 7,200 feet in the heart of Banff National Park, Banff Sunshine Village is Canada's highest elevation ski resort and home to Canada's longest non-glacial ski season.
With terrain suitable for all ability levels, from beginner-friendly green runs to advanced alpine terrain, Sunshine offers students the opportunity to learn, explore, and build confidence in one of Canada's most iconic mountain environments.

School groups may be eligible for discounted rates on:
- Lift tickets
- Ski and snowboard lessons
- Equipment rentals

Our experienced team works directly with trip organizers to simplify planning and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit.
School Group Eligibility
To qualify for group rates:
- A minimum of 15 students must be skiing or snowboarding.
- 8+ rooms (double occupancy) or 15+ people staying for hotel groups.
- Group bookings require a single payment for the entire group.
- Food and beverage functions require a minimum order for 15 guests.
Complimentary Chaperone Tickets
We offer one complimentary chaperone lift ticket for every 10 students.
To ensure student safety and supervision, all school groups must maintain a minimum ratio of one chaperone for every 10 students.
Gondola Access
Banff Sunshine Village's high-speed, eight-passenger gondola transports guests from the base area to the Village in approximately 20 minutes.
During the winter season, the resort is accessible by gondola only, creating a unique and memorable start to the day's adventure.
