Uphill travel is permitted for skiers traveling through Banff Sunshine Village to the backcountry via designated routes. Those who are using the marked uphill routes on the Ski Out, Meadow Park and Rock Isle must adhere to all Resort policies, posted signage, and are subject to the Exclusion of Liability displayed throughout the premises.

Uphill skiing on any runs or routes other than those clearly marked is prohibited, and any uphill skiers who intend to ride any Sunshine Village lift must purchase and present a valid lift ticket or pass. Uphill travelers must always be on the lookout for resort equipment and other skiers. In low light or inclement weather conditions, uphill travelers must equip themselves with visual aids (e.g. lights, reflectors, lamps).
