Delirium Dive Off the beaten piste Delirium Dive is the world-famous freeride zone opened to the public in 1998. If you like to push your skiing adventure to the limits – but to do so responsibly – then this is the area for you. The Sydney Morning Herald calls The Dive one of the Top 10 off-piste destinations in the world, and when you enter it, the rush of adrenaline will tell you why. Freeride zones are intended for advanced skiers and riders only, and special restrictions apply. Guests who enter The Dive will need to have an avalanche beacon and shovel, and travel with a similarly equipped partner. If you’re not sure you’re ready for The Dive, we highly recommend contacting our experts at Sunshine’s Ski & Snowboard School. They’ll make sure you have the skills and confidence for this adventure. This area is NOT marked for natural hazards, such as rocks and cliffs. All route selections are the responsibility of those entering these areas. Knowledge of travel in steep avalanche terrain is recommended. Freeride zones are subject to closure at any time due to avalanche hazard, weather, visibility, temperature or slope conditions. For further information, please see Sunshine Village Ski Patrol or the avalanche information boards in the Village or at Goat’s Eye station. HOTLINE: call (403) 762-6511 Or NEW!
