Thanks to the hard work of our Mountain Operations team and Mother Nature for the abundance of Canada’s Best Snow she has blessed us with so far this season, Goat’s Eye Express is now open for the 2020/21 ski and snowboard season.

While riding Goat’s Eye Express, skiers and snowboarders will be taken up an elevation of 1,860 feet (567 m) in under five minutes. At the top of Goat’s Eye mountain, enjoy the beauty of the Rockies as you challenge yourself to some of Sunshine’s steepest and deepest runs. Including the South Side Chutes, Hell’s Kitchen, and the Wild West, as well as some of our most thrilling cruisers: Sunshine Coast, Wild Fire and Afterburner.

With Goat’s Eye now open for the winter season, we now have all our lifts open! Woohoo! At the moment, 104 of our 139 runs are open for your skiing and riding pleasure, as well as 3 terrain parks, including Great Divide, Strawberry and Kids Play.

Visiting us soon? Plan ahead and skip the ticket line with a Mobile Lift Ticket. We are excited to offer you $10 off the regular ticket window price when you purchase a Mobile Ticket. To read more about how you can skip the line and save cash on Sunshine lift tickets, click here.

This season we, at Banff Sunshine, are operating with strict Covid protocols in place.  Our number one goal is to stay open so we may continue to provide you and your families with a healthy outdoor recreational experience that is essential for mental and physical health. Skiing or riding? Be sure to bring your face mask and face covering. Face coverings are required when riding our gondola and lifts and when standing in line, and face masks are mandatory to enter any of our facilities. Together, we believe we can bend the curve and reduce the spread of Covid-19.
