Steph O'Dette at Trappers (August 30th)

 Join us outside Mad Trapper’s to enjoy the musical stylings of Steph O’Dette. You’ll find Steph playing live music on the Trapper’s deck from 12:00PM – 3:00PM.  

Grab an après-hike drink, find a seat, and relax while listening to live music in the heart of the Rockies.

The natural beauty of Banff National Park has been attracting adventurous, talented individuals since the mountain town was founded in 1885. Local musician Steph O’Dette is one of these artistic and adventurous imports to Banff. In search of adventure, O’Dette moved to Banff from Peterborough, Ontario, when she was fresh out of high school – and hasn’t looked back since.  

Steph is wild about the four seasons of adventure offered by the Canadian Rockies, from hiking Sunshine Meadows in the summer to lapping Standish Express Chair in the winter.  Captivated by the beauty that surrounds her and the grounding energy of the majestic Rockies, Steph channels her adventurous spirit into her music. 

Thanks to her unique voice and passion for snowboarding, Steph O’Dette has earned a bit of “local celebrity” status in the Bow Valley. We at Banff Sunshine Village are excited to have her as our weekend house musician this season.
