Located at 7’200 feet, inside Banff National Park, is Canada’s highest elevation ski resort, Banff Sunshine Village. At Sunshine Village we offer Canada’s longest non-glacial ski season with runs ranging from cruisie Green Circles to skill testing Double Black Diamonds. Accessible only by gondola, we offer Banff’s only ski-in, ski-out hotel, in addition to diverse venue spaces that can host events for up to 250 people. Sunshine is the perfect venue to host your next social event or school trip! Our groups sales team will take the hassle out of planning.
Group bookings are eligible for discounts on lift tickets, ski and snowboard lessons, rentals, and more! Our groups sales team is always enthusiastic to help make your visit one to remember.
What is a group/Who is eligible for group rates?
We define a group based on the following points:

15+ people skiing or snowboarding for the day.

Hotel groups – 8+ rooms based on double occupancy or 15+ people staying in the hotel.

A single payment for the entire group.

A minimum of 15+ people worth of food/drink orders are needed for Food & Beverage functions.
Gondola:
Banff Sunshine Village’s high-speed eight-passenger gondola whisks guests from the base area up to the Village in approximately 20 minutes. During our winter season Banff Sunshine is accessed by gondola only. Giving an additional unique experience for your guests.
Operating hours during the winter season are as follows:

Saturday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Friday: 8:00am-10:00pm

We offer 1 complimentary chaperone ticket for every 10 students. A chaperone must accompany all school students with a minimum ratio of 1 chaperone to 10 students.
